Some events may require an application on the day of the event. For details, please visit the Naka International Lounge website(外部サイト).

Independent film screenings will be held as a pre-event of the Multicultural Festa
The following three films will be screened on the evening before the Multicultural Festa: Being a Different Color is Neither Strange nor Special: We who Seek the Colors of the Rainbow; Koyo Jisei–Living My Own Life; and I Wanna Fall in Love.
These are independent productions by young people living in Naka Ward with roots spanning multiple languages and cultures. Through these works, they turn the lens to focus on their own lives and think about what it means to live on their own terms.
Date: December 16 (Fri.), 6:15 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
Place: Cinema Jack & Betty (3-51 Wakaba-cho)
Capacity: 80 (first-come, first-served)
In December 2017, graduates of a learning support class for foreign junior high school students in Naka Ward held at the Naka International Lounge formed the steering committee Nijiiro Tankentai. In addition to planning and operating Rainbow Space, a place that provides a welcoming place for young people to come and spend time, the group also runs activities to encourage members to express themselves, such as video production, and undertakes initiatives that contribute to the local community.
