Child-rearing support facilities（子育て支援施設）

Local child rearing support centers are places where preschool children and their guardians can come to play, meet others, consult about child-rearing, and obtain information on child-rearing. These facilities are free to use - all you have to do is register as a user.
Local child rearing support centers also hold training sessions etc. for people in the community connected with child-rearing support.

Parent and child plazas are aimed at local parents who are raising children and their children (mainly children of preschool age (0 - 3 years) and their guardians). Held in venues such as apartment rooms or vacant stores in shopping districts, parent and child plazas provide the following services.

• Provision of a place for parents and children to come and meet others
• Holding of consultations on child-rearing
• Collection and provision of information relating to child-rearing in the region
• Holding of seminars relating to child-rearing and child-rearing support

Hamakko Hiroba at private kindergartens, etc. provide local child-rearing support to children of preschool age and their guardians. This includes opening up the kindergarten's grounds and buildings for use, child-rearing consultations, child-rearing seminars, childcare with children attending the kindergarten, provision of information, etc.
These are safe and fun places where children can come to play and guardians can meet and exchange information with fellow parents.
Some kindergartens open up their grounds and buildings for use on a more or less permanent basis (3 days a week or more), while others provide a less regular service (once or twice a week).

This includes opening up the day-care center's grounds and buildings for use, child-rearing consultations, child-rearing seminars, childcare with children attending the day-care center, provision of information, etc.

Some day-care centers open up their grounds and buildings for use on a more or less permanent basis (3 days a week or more), while others provide a less regular service (all other municipal day-care centers and some certified combined nursery and kindergarten facilities).
