Earthquake!
Father : Keep calm!
Mother : This is the first earthquake we’ve had in ages!
Child : I'm scared!
Father : The shaking has stopped...
Let's go to an evacuation shelter!
Mother : We’ve got to get out of here!
Child : ...
Father : We’re lucky the house is still standing.
Mother : Yeah, we are. Come on, we’ve gotta go!
Child : Dad! Mom! Hold on!
I heard that you don’t have to go to an evacuation shelter if your house is alright!
Child : Instead of going to an evacuation shelter, we also have the option of staying at home, where we are more comfortable!
Father & Mother : Stay at home?
Child : Just think what would happen if everyone who could otherwise stay at home safely were to go to an evacuation shelter. It would be chaos!

Evacuation shelters function as places of refuge for people who have lost their homes and are unable to carry out their daily lives there due to the earthquake. They also serve to provide a supply of goods and information for those staying at home, and as a base for rescue and relief efforts by residents.

It’s certainly better to stay at home if you can.
Child : People who choose to stay at home can also receive necessary items and information at an evacuation shelter. So it really does make sense to stay at home.
Father : Right! It's important to prepare in advance!
