Yokohama City Climate Change Adaptation Strategy

Adaptation measures were included in the Yokohama City Action Plan for Global Warming Countermeasures and promoted. In June 2017, Yokohama issued the Yokohama City Climate Change Adaptation Strategy. In light of major disasters caused by climate change happening domestically and globally, and trends in the international community and among other nations, Yokohama compiled measures across various fields that the city implements with a focus on adaptation. It will continue to promote adaptation measures in cooperation with citizens and companies.
