Last updated date:2025/12/11
From October 27 to 31, 2025, India Maritime Week, organized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW) and the Ports Association of India, was held in Mumbai.
The main conference featured high-level meetings and specialized sessions attended by Prime Minister Modi, with over 100,000 participants.
On October 28, the City of Yokohama Port and Harbor Bureau participated as a panelist in the session “Empowering Indian Ports to Emerge as Hubs for Green Fuel Bunkering and Exports” at Green Maritime Day, including Indian Minister of MoPSW and the Norwegian Minister of Ocean Policy as panelists. At the session, the Port of Yokohama introduced Port of Yokohama carbon neutral port initiatives and public–private partnership initiatives and exchanged opinions on issues such as demand creation.
