Throughout Naka Ward, the area of town where Yokohama Port opened up, you will find numerous monuments commemorating “firsts” for Japan and the history of the port’s opening. You can now download an illustrated walking map, taking you on a tour around these monuments.
You can also use this map to learn about the area’s history and society. A handy size, it is easy to slip into your pocket when out and about town.

(1) Print the map page and guide page using double sided printing (short edge binding).
(2) Fold the left and right hand sides of the sheet inwards so that they meet at the center.
Then, fold it in half down the center of the sheet.
(3) When you fold it so that the colored anchor signs are aligned, you can compare the map with the relevant monument commentary.
