Throughout Naka Ward, the area of town where Yokohama Port opened up, you will find numerous monuments commemorating “firsts” for Japan and the history of the port’s opening. You can now download an illustrated walking map, taking you on a tour around these monuments.
You can also use this map to learn about the area’s history and society. A handy size, it is easy to slip into your pocket when out and about town.
In addition to English, Chinese and Korean versions are also available. To access the Japanese version and all foreign language versions, please click the below link.
