Yokohama Circular Week 2027(English Webpage)

The City of Yokohama will host three international events focused on circular cities: the 9th Asia-Pacific Urban Forum (APUF-9), the Asia-Pacific Circular Cities Forum (APCC -Forum), and the International Exhibition on Circular Economy.
By bringing together global stakeholders in the circular economy, we aim to maximize synergies with GREEN×EXPO 2027.

*APUF (Asia-Pacific Urban Forum) is a high-level platform on sustainable urban development co-hosted every four years by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) with cities across Asia and Pacific. It is one of the largest multi-stakeholder meetings in the Asia-Pacific region, bringing together leaders from national and local governments, international organizations, financial institutions, academia, and the private sector. APUF-9 in 2027 will be the first time the forum is held in Japan.

*The APCC-Forum is an international conference launched by the City of Yokohama in 2026, building on the achievements of the Asia Smart City Conference, which has been held 14 times. It serves as a platform for sharing knowledge on the "Asian Circular Cities Declaration," a new international framework for advancing circular cities. Through collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including cities both in Japan and abroad which are promoting circularity, government agencies, international organizations, expert agencies, and companies, the forum aims to promote the realization of a circular society across the Asia-Pacific region.

* The International Exhibition on Circular Economy aims to be a unique large-scale event where domestic and international companies showcase solutions and engage in business matching in cities implementing circular economy policies and technologies.
