Yokohama Three Towers Day events

The theme of this year’s Three Towers Day is “jazz.” In addition, you will also find a range of other events, including product fairs.

Osaragi Jiro × Cat Photo Exhibition 2019


This is a photo exhibition featuring many cats, an animal associated with the famous Japanese writer and cat lover Jiro Osaragi.

Dates and times: Feb. 26 (Tue.) – Apr. 14 (Sun.), 10:00 – 17:00 (April: 10:00 – 17:30)
* Closing days: Mondays, Mar. 25 (Mon.) – Apr. 2 (Tue.). Mar. 28 (Thu.) – 31 (Sun.) 1st floor only open. Photo exhibition open.

Venue: The Osaragi Jiro Memorial Museum

Fee: \200 (free for elementary school children and under, and Yokohama residents aged 65 and above)

Negishi Forest Park Plum Blossom Festival

A plum blossom garden with 68 varieties and 306 individual trees, you can enjoy a range of events while admiring plum blossoms.

▸ Open-air tea ceremony (matcha green tea, manju sweet) and koto performance
● 11:00 – 14:00 * Capacity of 70 people for each open-air tea ceremony, \500 each

▸ Ikebana flower arranging performance
● (1) 11:00 – 11:30, (2) 13:00 – 13:30

▸ Guided tour of plum blossoms by park staff
● 14:00 (meet at Azumaya Plum Blossom Garden) – 14:30 ●Capacity of 20 people each day

▸ Pony encounter
● 14:30 – 15:00* 2/9 only

Disused household articles will be sold at affordable prices.
  The proceeds will be donated for social welfare in Naka Ward.
“The Consumer Life Expo” will be held at the same time.
