The "Strategic Port Management" training program for the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port's staff was successfully implemented in Yokohama

 
The Port of Yokohama and JICA are hosting a two-week training program in order to teach about the development of the operation in the container terminal and management skills. 4 staff from Sihanoukvile Autonomous Port visited the logistic facilitiy and joined the lecture at the container terminal. They also participated in a practical training workshop where they learned about port management, marketing and trade development in case studies prepared by the Port of Yokohama.

Major international port in Cambodia as well as the Phnom Penh Port. Islands become natural breakwater, deepen depth, little piled sand and few typhoon means natural blessed harbor. Container handling volume in 2009 was 200 thousand TEU.
